Bench O at Kuse Nature Preserve

A variety of trees and plants can be seen near Bench O. White Pine trees, Pin Cherry, Basswood and Black Hills Spruce trees are nearby.

A stone fence remains as a boundary between private and public property. They were gathered from newly tilled soil and placed along the edges of fields. All members of the family usually helped pick up rocks.

Think of how the use of land has changed through the years.
